为掌握中亚留学生（哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦、土库曼斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦、塔吉克斯坦五国留学生）在华教育发展现状，通过调查问卷与个别访谈相结合的方式，了解中亚留学生的来华动机、学习情况、生活习惯、思想动态、存在困难等方面的情况，深入探讨中亚留学生管理与服务中存在的共性问题。在此基础上，有针对性地提出相关建议，以不断扩大中亚五国在华留学生的规模，培养出更多知华、友华、爱华的留学生，为国家的丝绸之路经济带发展战略服务。
